Throughout their 30+ year history, Mount Sion Silver Band contested a variety of local, regional, national and international competitions. Their successes in this regard are catalogued below (in reverse chronological order).

1973

  • South East Region Quartets – Junior: 1st Place (Fergus O’Carroll, Anthony Power, Paul Mooney, Liam Walsh)

1975

  • Regional Quartets – Junior: 1st Place (Donal Langford, Brian Cooney, David O’Mahoney, Fergus Barry)
  • National Band Championships – Intermediate: 2nd Place (Dun Laoghaire, Co. Dublin)

1976

  • South East Region Quartets: 2nd Place (Michael Doody, John Carey, Dermot Carey, Damien Foley)

1977
